A stylish, mostly contemporary basin design.
Semi pedestal, sometimes called half pedestal, basins are very sleek looking and because they have no contact with the floor will allow much easier cleaning both of floor and the underside of the basin. The big issue here is that the basin plumbing must be concealed in the wall. The hot and cold pipes and the waste need to come directly out from the wall, close to where the underside of the basin will be. The basin has to be firmly fixed to the wall and the semi pedestal is suspended underneath in a position where the pipework is concealed. (read more on how it is fitted)
