Showers

Your choice of shower fittings and enclosures is absolutely mind-blowing.  There are so many options in style, shape and design that choices can be difficult.

Is a shower tray better than a wet floor?  Should we go with a full enclosure or just a splash panel?  Are sliding doors better than hinged doors?  What type of valve is best?  Should we use an electric shower?

The list of questions is endless, and there are no single correct answers for everyone.  Your best choice will depend on the circumstances in your bathroom, and of course your budget.  The hot water system in your home has a massive impact on which valves and fittings are most suitable, and in particular the water pressure.  Floor construction, room size and location will have a bearing on your choice of shower base, drainage and enclosure style.

It can be complex, so we'll try to pick our way through the options.
