Wet Floor Systems

Wet floor systems are designed to provide a showering area without a shower tray, offering a level floor without the need to step up into the shower area.  Because of the seamless transition from floor to shower area, this design is ideal for less-able people as the trip hazard of the tray rim is removed, and access for wheelchair users is simple. Furthermore there is no restriction in terms of size or shape as the showering area is not dictated by available tray sizes and shapes.

A wet floor can be used with a full enclosure or without, and can be installed in upstairs bathrooms as well as ground floor rooms.  It is possible to have a wet floor area on a suspended timber floor or on a concrete or slab and screed floor and installation is possible either during construction or for retro fit in an older property.  There are, of course, many options, follow the links below to learn more.
