Welcome to the Federation of Kitchen and Bathroom Designers.

We are a professional association set up for the benefit of people who work in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry and our primary purpose is to help kitchen, bedroom and bathroom salespeople and designers to increase their knowledge and experience of the industry, allowing these individuals to offer their clients the best possible service and advice.

The kitchen, bedroom and bathroom (KBB) industry traditionally has been unregulated in respect of the design and advice offered to customers, and while we are not seeking to encumber the industry with regulation, we feel that customers deserve protection from unscrupulous sales people, poor design and generally bad advice.  

The FKBD want to educate and accredit KBB salespeople and designers and offer membership options of a professional body where we can together improve design and service standards for all our clients.  Customers will feel more secure when they know that they are dealing with an accredited professional.

Associate FKBD membership is completely free with a commitment only to strive to maintain high standards.   Membership of the FKBD is awarded on merit.
