Drawing from the extraordinary landscape of the Sassi di Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its ancient cave dwellings continuously inhabited since the Paleolithic era, the collection pays tribute to one of the world’s most remarkable examples of lived-in history. The natural beauty of Matera, shaped over centuries from soft calcarenite stone carved by water and wind, informs the character of the design, capturing a sense of time, texture and authenticity.

Doimo Cucine — one of Italy’s most respected kitchen brands, already trusted by 25 UK retailers, has recently launched a new Design Book entitled “Impronta”.

Under the leadership of new Art Ditector Ferruccio Laviani, “Impronta” is a strategic showcase demonstrating how Doimo’s collections can project a more luxurious brand identity. This initiative successfully elevates the brand’s aesthetic appeal while maintaining Doimo’s competitive pricing.

With Impronta—meaning ‘fingertips’—Art Director Ferruccio Laviani breathes a new soul into Doimo Cucine. By reimagining core components from the existing range into seven striking new kitchen designs, Laviani expresses a fresh brand DNA defined by seamless, monolithic aesthetics. These environments artfully pair natural textures like veneer and ceramic with glass and metal, resulting in a sophisticated look tailored for the integrated flow of modern living and dining spaces.

First we have Desco:

A warm functional kitchen and place for family interaction. Incorporating a feature island with open shelving and ceramic doors and worktop in Florim Marble Mahal ceramic. Natural Oak veneer in Baltico finish with Doimo’s Hide glazed doors creates a seamless floor-to-ceiling rear tall run. Glazed Hide Door cabinets made from Natural Oak veneer in Baltico.

Next the beautiful Coro:

A monolithic island with chunky stainless steel worktop and matching elements in the tall run. The veneer is Blonde Walnut. Veneered cabinets within the Libreria shelving system featuring the Hide glazed door with concealed hinges.

Then there is RIMA:

In this composition there is a dialogue between different materials, textures and colours, creating a harmonious natural space. The island uses Fenix NTM Verde Comodoro base units and a Florim Verde Alpi gloss ceramic worktop. The rear units feature beautifully grain-matched Canaletto Walnut veneer and Bianco Carrara marble open shelving units.
